Analysis – 6 Cancellation to Debilitated Jupiter
The cancellation to debilitation rule 2, 3, 4, 5 , 7 and 8 applies to her debilitation Jupiter. I provide an explanation how each rule applies.
Rule 2 – The exaltation lord of the debilitated planet is in a Kendra from Lagna or Moon
- Jupiter is exalted in the sign of Cancer. The Lord of Cancer is Moon; therefor Moon become the exaltation lord. The planet Moon is in a Kendra (7th house) from lagan. This creates the first cancellation to debilitation.
Rule 3 – The debilitated planet is associated with or aspected by its debilitation lord.
- Jupiter debilitated lord is Saturn (because it rules Capricorn). The planet Saturn is positioned in the 11th house. Saturn aspects Jupiter with its 3rd aspect, creating a cancellation to debilitation.
Rule 4 – The planet that is exalted in the sign of the debilitated planet is positioned in an angle (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) from the lagna or the Moon
- The planet that gets exalted in Capricorn is Mars. The planet Mars is in an angle from both Lagna and Moon.
Rule 5 – The debilitated planet exchanges signs with its debilitation lord.
- Jupiter is in the sign of Capricorn, the planet Capricorn is ruled by Saturn; therefore, Saturn becomes Jupiter dispositor. The planet Saturn is in involved in an exchange. Saturn is in Scorpio (ruled by Mars) and Mars is in the sign of Capricorn (ruled by Saturn). Since Saturn is in a sign ruled by Mars and Mars is in a signed ruled by Capricorn this creates an exchange of signs. This is an Exception to the rule, although Jupiter do not have a direct exchange of sign with its debilitated lord Saturn. Its Lord Saturn is involved in an exchange of signs with Mars creating another cancellation to debilitation.
Rule 7 – The debilitated planet is conjunct an exalted planet.
- Jupiter conjuncts an exalted Mars in the 1st House (the planet Mars is exalted in the sign of Capricorn). This creates another cancellation to debilitation.
Rule 8 – The debilitated planet is associated with or aspected by its exaltation lord
- Jupiter is exalted in the sign of Moon. The planet Moon aspects Jupiter with its 7th aspect. This creates the final cancellation to debilitation.
